On the heels of a seemingly endless winter the weather has finally decided to break...

We've started to make it a priority to do more fun stuff like seeing "shows". Nicole and I went to the Warpaint show at Numo's in Seattle. They're a kind of progressive rock band from LA, all female.

I took a 4-hour welding class with a great teacher named Carla Grahn. Her shop doubles as her classroom. I'm learning to weld as part of Lia's "tree" project for her bedroom. More on that later...

Easter was fantastic! Ross and Chris came down, and Jacqueline and David were home. The kids got to color 64 eggs then search the yard for them We also made them huge custom Easter baskets.
