Two months ago, we were flattered to be contacted by the graphics team that does UCLA's magazine, Point of View.

They wanted to license two of our photos of the city for the cover, and for a 3-page pull out spread.

And they wanted to pay us? Wow, it was weird to be paid serious money for our hobby, but also really cool. We used the license fees to buy some long-wanted camera gear.

They even sent us five copies of the magazine when it came out!

In other news, I was recently hired for the day to photograph some new architecture here in Los Angeles. I can't say who the client was or show the photos (part of the license agreement), but it paid extremely well, and they were really happy with the work, which was the best part. At least they said they were happy...

Hopefully this will lead to some more work.

Finally, we sold our first large print to a customer back East. We now have a gallery for viewing these prints, and purchasing them. (Family will get a very special deal of course)

Nicole's long-exposure evening shot of the city was used for the front cover.

Here's the little blurb about us on the inside cover.

Rob's panorama shot of the city was used for the 3-page pull out spread.

Here's our very first print sold! We used Samy's Service Bureau here in Los Angeles, and the results were very nice. We highly recommended them.

And finally, Nicole's tummy is getting EVEN BIGGER!!!

How big will it get? We'll have another picture in 3 weeks...
