May 12th, 2009 Sooooo close... Here's a sequence showing Nicole from 16-40 weeks. Any day now! We've been anxiously awaiting the arrival of our new baby girl.. Nicole's due date came and went on Saturday the 23rd. Tonight is Wednesday the 27th. The whole family is ready, but Nicole is probably the most ready. During the past couple of weeks we put the new 5DII through its paces, getting to know some of the fancy features. All the shots on this page are with the new camera (except the 6-shot pregnancy tummy sequence). That was shot with the 20D. Brian and Jen celebrated the birth of their daughter, Lilly Robin Patenaude. We got to see her when she was just a few days old, and take some photos of the beautiful family. Ross and I painted the roof with a new coat of aluminum tar, which keeps the house much cooler than the black tar roof did. We also had to buy another 15 yards of topsoil for the yard. But this time, we're moving it by wheelbarrow! It's taken about 60 trips and it's only half-moved. We're getting ready to build the fence! But first, we need that new baby to come! -Rob and Nicole

"Mom, I think it might just be time for a haircut..."
"I felt her kick!"
"I heard a kick!"
"Will it help if I push?"
Elliot performs another drop-kick.
One of his favorite things in the world, "Throw".
Brian and Jen hold their new baby girl, "Lilly".
Lilly "Iron Grip" Patenaude tries a new hold on Jen's finger, from which Jen is unable to escape and is pulled down into the blankets, to meet an unknown fate.
Lilly and her new Dad, Brian.
"YAWN, staying awake for your silly photos is exhausting...goodnight!" |
"Did you tell her not to touch the back!?"
"Good thing I got this kid to hide my beer-gut, honey!"
"I wonder what name they picked out for her..."
"Who wants to try to take my ball?"
Running down to the water to for another session of "Throw".
"Aww come on, Grandpa! Isn't "Throw" just the best thing in the world?"
"Hey Elliot, see if you can poke that stick right down Grandma's pants! Quick!"

"You're a pretty good looking kid, you!"
