Quick update: My god, I've been busier than any other time in my life! Easter, Mother's Day, etc etc... so much has happened in the past few months. But most of all, we finally wrapped: Our project at Bungie (Halo: Reach) has been a mammoth effort requiring so much of our time. But the result is definitely paying off. This game is set to be something very special, and an achievement our entire team can be proud of. So what the hell is Halo: Reach? This thing eating so much time that I couldn't update our website for almost three months??? Here are a few links that explain what this game is all about.

Elliot and Lia take a break from the Easter egg hunt
Lia shows off her Easter dress
"It's all in the wrist, Dad. Look at how I'm doing it."
Grandma and Elliot wait for the miniature train at the park up in Surrey, BC.
Elliot rides down one of the super-long slides at the park.
Ross and I make further progress on the fence. Here we're inserting 1/2 inch spacers, so we can fasten the back support board. This board holds the whole panel flat, and the boards at 1/2 inch gaps.
We excavated this huge 9x9 hole for our new hot tub to fit in. The new deck will be built around it.
Here I am using a plate compactor on the 5/8 minus crushed rock pad.
A cluster of Bungie boys forms around the Groom (center).
Rob and Nicole have a flash-back to their earlier, dancier days...
At the Seattle Arboretum, Haley, Liam, Charlie, and Maclin joined us for a picnic on Mother's Day.
Nicole with her babies at the Arboretum.
Elliot runs through the sun-soaked grass at the Arboretum.

"Oh Elliot you're the best part about Easter!"
Outside, mom teaches Elliot how to handle a hose.
Elliot learns to control (and respect) the power of the hose. Up at Grandma's house, Lia proves that "bubbles-on-babies" is another no brainer.
We found this amazing picnic spot at the park in Surrey, BC.
Waiting for the miniature train to come...
Here we are fastening the top sheet of 1x6 ipe down. This will protect the posts, and make it look a bit more finished.
Here's the drainage system for the hot tub pad. Any water that collects below the tub will drain away via this 3" slotted pipe which ties into our main run-off system. We wrapped it in fabric and covered it with 12" of drain rock afterward.
Here's Nicole and Keryn at Mike & Karen Buelterman's wedding in Seattle.
"OMG this is the BEST!"
Just then Rob busts out an epic dip taking Nicole by surprise!
Grandma Carol was also with us, and she got some extended Lia time.
Charlie stops kicking soccer balls to work on her posing skills.
