Well summer is sort of "officially" here, but that's about it. Not that I'm bitching about the four sunny days we've had between May and June, it's just that it only broke 70 degrees once. Ahh well... every errr cloud has a silver lining right? Well the extended winter has helped convince me to make the most of the great indoors. I've finally drunk from the big purple tango kool-aid pitcher and signed up for classes. And who else is teaching the classes than Jacqueline! I've also convinced a few of my pals to join in the fun. And fun it is! After about 8 classes, I'm starting to get it -and it's seriously awesome. I think it's the kind of dance I always wanted to dance. Every time I see it danced well, I just think, "I wanna be able to do that". (disclaimer: the dude in this video is very, very, very experienced and has been dancing with this same girl since they were children.)
But best of all, it's bringing me closer to Nicole, since she's so into it already. Speaking of, she's had a few performances this month, as well as a really cool filming at union station. I helped out with some production stills, and some dirty alley concept photos for their group, "Tango En Vie". In OTHER news, Lia turned TWO!
