Elliot turned 3!

Amazing, three years have sailed by like a blur, and our baby is a little boy now.

He made out like a pirate of course, with so many awesome presents he'll be set for quite a while.

Grandma and Grandpa got him a new wooden bike with no pedals, so he can learn to balance by pushing and coasting.

The 4th of July was awesome, and we got to spent it over and Mike and Keryn Means' house. They had some great food, and Jason brought some totally legal and permitted fireworks for us to set off in a safe way. (safely first, always).

Jacqueline, Chris, and Nicole lovingly craft the mountain for Elliot's "train cake".

"Throw me another blueberry, Dad!"

Cora and Charlie discuss presents and possibly the latest gossip

Keryn and Mike hang out while Deklan gets some Z's in the back bedroom.

Brian and Jen's daughter Lillly

Jacqueline blows out her candles, with some help from Elliot, at her birthday party in Seattle.

Elliot and Sam Jones' son, Theo play with some sparklers over at Mike and Keryn's house in Seattle.

"I want another sparkler!"

Thomas approaches the teeming throng of 3-7 year old children.

"Thomas is AWESOME!"

"Yo! Yo! Organic puffs are AWESOME, aww yeeeah!!"

Elliot spends samples the many track layouts at the "Day with Thomas" event in Snoqualme.

Elliot and Auntie Jacqueline

"When's it gonna be MY birthday again!?"

July 4th, and Elliot holds his first sparkler.

"I like fire" he thinks, and now we probably need to hide all the matches and lighters in the house.

The Bungie boys (left to right: Jason, Mike, Rob, Sam A., and Sam J.) burn some adult-sized sparklers and contemplate the meaning of Independence day. Note, the guy on the end -that's Sam Jones, and he's English. But he likes Independence Day, so he's ok.

Below: here's our producer Sam A. lighting something I'd rather not outright name. We were being supervised by the local fire department (not shown), the Seattle PD (also not shown), and we even had a permit (not shown).
