This update is short and sweet.

Elliot finally got his own high-chair so he can feel like an adult (an adult who slaps his food around and makes a mockery of the dining area as well as any real adults who may be trying to keep things sort of clean).

The nice thing about a high-chair is your kid can be distracted by feeling like a grown-up long enough for you to sneak in a few desperate bites of your own food and swallow without chewing.

We bought a B.O.B. baby jogger device, and after a few weeks we decided it was a little redundant since we already had an Orbitbaby toddler stroller.

So we returned it to REI and got a Sherpaini back pack.

This this is genius. Not only can you take your baby for walks, but you can get all kinds of house chores accomplished while he's on your back.

That's all for now. I've been working 11-12 hour days trying to get a big demo together for our publisher, so I haven't had much time for photos and updates.

Hopefully there will be a bigger update next time!

-Rob and Nicole

Elliot spreads his wings and requests more peas.

Nicole takes a moment to reflect upon the recent snowfall and the delicate balance of contrast, color, and form suddenly created by nature.

Elliot enjoys the moment by tooting under his blankets.

Elliot takes in the view from the window and thinks about the vast array of trouble he will get into soon.

Rob bought a new truck because his 2-wheel drive pickup (right) just couldn't handle the rigors of the mud-snow commute.

Elliot takes a little nibble out of the whisk.

Peas! Bring me peas you silly adults who bend to my every whim, scramble at my merest sigh, and bow before my fouled diapers! Serve me and live...

Early in the morning, Rob trudges out the back door, bleary-eyed, to grab this panorama from the lake.

Then he spins around and smiles at his parents, a necessary ruse to cover his true plans.

The poor 2wd Toyota pickup. Soon to find a new home via craigslist.org...

Then he strikes a relaxed pose for mom.
