Lots of fun times this past month...

Elliot got his new tricycle made by "Kettler". It's got inflated tires for going on the trail, and cool back wheels that turn, making it really easy to push him around. It comes with a long handle that can be removed later, when he's able to peddle by himself.

He looooves being pushed along the trail! It's probably his favorite thing to do (besides throwing the roll of toilet paper into the toilet).

My uncle Ed and aunt Bonnie came and visited on September 6th. We spent the whole day catching up, telling stories, talking, and of course, playing with Elliot. Ed gave me some golf tips, which I tried to memorize.

Elliot really loves Ed and Bonnie.

A couple weeks later, Simon came for a three-day visit. For those of you who don't know, Simon is one of our best and oldest friends. We used to hang out constantly back up in Vancouver, and when we all lived in L.A.

We ran around Seattle, checked out some of the folk singers in Pike's Market, looked up at the Needle, and of course we also took Elliot on the trail. Elliot and Simon became fast friends.

Last weekend was Amelie's first birthday! There were 12 kids there, including Carlene's son and daughter. Carlene now lives in nearby Renton, so we'll be seeing a lot more of her family in the future...

The weather is still holding up, with sunny warm days here and there. We'll see how long it lasts...

Elliot tries on his new hat and sweater from Janey and Jack.

"Gramma push faster! Actually, always go as fast as you can unless I specifically ask you to go slow, ok?"

Mom, your hand is too close to my blackberry.

Simon tries hard to hear Nicole's brain, and she tries to listen for his pulse... I think it was too noisy at the public market though.

Elliot allows the pushing to cease for a moment, just long enough to load up on more blackberries and get this photo taken.

Paisley nuzzles her daughter Amelie on her first birthday.

The girls play with some cool vintage toy on the floor. I think I might have played with that same toy when I was tiny also.

The kids circle the cake, anxiously awaiting the first slice so the feeding frenzy can ensue. Which it did.

She eats her handfuls of cake like a lady.

The family hangs out and talks about all their first birthdays.

"Mom, you're probably gonna need a new roll of toilet paper in the bathroom... it accidentally slipped into the bowl."

"Whoah!! I think I dropped a blackberry! Gramma can you get that for me? Push faster mom! Dad, you're in the way!"

Ed, Elliot and Bonnie take a break from socializing with Elliot to pose for this shot.

Simon attacks with his hand, just before pulling the space needle from his backpack and using it like a giant hammer to smash his enemies into tiny fragments.

The kid-avalanche just before it flowed down the stairs. From top to Bottom: Peter, Taylor, Barrett, Charlotte, Liam, Abe, Elliot, Cora, Kyla, Cody, Kate, Morgan, Amelie and Maclin.

They check out some of her new clothes.

Greg and Molly's son Abe pauses to size up the camera guy, and decides he's "ok". Lucky for me!

Amelie can't be happier!

Even Liam gets a bite... a small bite.

Ross, Chris, and Elliot chill out at Amelie's party.
