Rob celebrated his 37th birthday by having an intimate gathering of family and close friends over for some drinks, socializing, and of course, Rock Band 2.

It was a really fun afternoon, and we rocked pretty successfully.

As the sun (brightest section of the clouds) was setting, we took some pictures of Morgan, Cora, and Amelie out by the "picture-taking-shrubs". They turned out pretty good.

The next weekend, Bob and Carol flew in for a 3-day visit.

We took Elliot to the botanical gardens for some insane Christmas lights.

We had a couple inches of snow on Saturday night, and woke up to a light blanket of white on Sunday morning.

Elliot was pretty excited to get out and explore the yard in his snow boots and warm clothes...

The next morning there was a couple inches of snow on the ground.

On Saturday night we visited the botanical gardens in Bellevue for the insane lights. Notice how insane the lights are in this photo.
